Unmanned Arial Systems (UAS) Programming Challenge

Organised by Ministry of Defense in association with ADNEC Group, Track 2 of the Coding Challenge, will be held at UMEX from January 23 to January 25, 2024.

Competition Details:

Track Two, dedicated to the UAS programming challenge during UMEX 2024, consists of three varying levels designed to assess participants’ efficiency through multiple challenges. This competition provides an opportunity for participants to showcase their expertise in software development, device design, and operational planning for drones. It serves as a way to stay informed about the latest technologies in the drone industry.

Participation requirements for the competition:

Participants must be citizens of the Unite Arab Emirates

Participants should register to UMEX 2024 first at least 2 weeks prior to the event by clicking here

A formal education certificate in programming is not a prerequisite.

Competition instructions and an overview will be shared with registered individuals in advance for preparation purposes.

Competition Format

Participants solve programming dilemmas related to Unmanned Arial Systems (UAS) challenges at various difficulty levels for each stage. The program is tested on drone simulators, and participants’ solutions are evaluated.
