Dr. Arif Sultan Al Hammadi is currently serving as the Executive Vice President at the Khalifa University of Science Technology.
Dr. Al Hammadi is also the chairman of the board of trustees of the Emirates College of Advanced Education, a chair of the steering committee of the UAE Graduate Research Conference (UAE-GRC), and chairman of the executive committee of the UAE Advanced Network for Research and Education (ANKABUT).
Dr. Al Hammadi is also the founding chair of the UAE Mobile Application Contest (UAE MAC) and the chair of the steering committee of Khalifa Innovation Center. He is a member of the Emirates Scientists Council, a member in UAE Water Aid (Suqia), a member of the Sanad Aero Solutions, a member of the Academic Committee at Zayed University, a member of the Minister of Interior’s Award for Scientific Research, a member of the Armed Forces and Innovation Award and a member of the Hamdan bin Mohammed Award for Innovation in Project Management.
Dr, Al Hammadi is also a board member of ADNOC Schools, a member of the 4th Industrial Revolution Committee and a member of Emirates Innovation and Technology Center (ETIC).
Dr. Al Hammadi has published in a number of specialized conferences and magazines, and enjoys academic experience in teaching and research in several fields, including artificial intelligence and computer networks.
Dr. Al Hammadi holds a PhD in Telecommunications, which he was awarded from the Queen Mary University of London in 2000. He also has a Bachelor’s in Telecommunications Engineering with Honors from Etisalat University College-UAE (1994).
